DARK CHORUS is an incredible dance work made by Lucy Guerin in 2016. The world it creates is dark, haunting, beautiful sinister and bizarre all at once. The process for making the sounds on this release were exploratory and revelatory. I have divided the score into two halves Part 1 and Part 2 - there is an underpinning sinister drone which cradles various episodes ranging from whispered vocals and Buchla generated textures to pure tone glissandi. Huge thanks to Lucy Guerin for involving me in this process and thanks to the awesome cast of dancers - Stephanie Lake, Jess Oshodoi, Lilian Steiner, Benjamin Hancock and Tyrone Robinson.
